Validity of the GTC
These General Terms and Conditions apply to contracts for the temporary provision of the guest house / vacation apartment for accommodation. The Lessor’s services are provided exclusively on the basis of these General Terms and Conditions.
The subletting or subletting of the rented guest house / vacation apartment as well as its use for other than residential purposes require the prior written consent of the landlord.
Accommodation contract
The accommodation contract is concluded when the landlord confirms the booking request of the guest by telephone or in writing by mail and/or e-mail and thus accepts the booking (application acceptance).
The guest is obliged to check the booking confirmation for accuracy.
If the content of the booking confirmation deviates from the booking request and the guest does not object to this immediately, the content of the booking confirmation shall be deemed to be contractually agreed.
Payment modalities
A deposit of 50% of the agreed rental amount must be paid within 7 working days after booking confirmation. Only after receiving the deposit, the cottage is reserved for you.
The balance is to be paid to our bank account up to 5 days before arrival. For short-term bookings (up to 7 days before the start of the booking), the total amount is to be paid by instant bank transfer or in cash when the keys are handed over on the day of arrival.
Withdrawal (Cancellation)
A withdrawal (cancellation) must be made in writing to the landlord. The date of receipt of the declaration is exclusively determined by the date of receipt at Gästehaus am Bachlauf, Niederlosheimer Str. 61, 66679 Losheim am See (postmark/email date of receipt.
Within 48 hours after the completion of the booking free cancellation. Up to 14 days before check-in 50% refund of deposit, up to 7 days before check-in no refund of deposit in case of cancellation.
Arrival and departure / handover of keys
The guest house by the stream is available from 3 pm on the day of arrival.
The guest is obliged to present their valid identity card or passport to the landlord upon arrival.
On the day of departure, the guest must vacate the apartment by 11 a.m. at the latest.
In the event of loss of one or more keys, the guest shall pay compensation to the lessor for their replacement and, if necessary, for the installation of new locks.
House Rules & General Rights and Duties
The guest has to treat the vacation apartment and its inventory with care.
For the duration of the vacation home the guest is obliged to keep windows and doors closed and to switch off lights and technical devices when leaving the vacation home.
The accommodation of pets is not allowed.
Smoking is prohibited in all areas of the guest house, including the sun terrace.
The landlord has a right of access to the guest house at any time, especially in case of imminent danger. When exercising the right of access, due consideration must be given to the guest’s legitimate interests.
The Lessor shall inform the Guest in advance about the exercise of the right of access, unless this is unreasonable or impossible for the Lessor under the circumstances of the individual case.
The guest is liable for all damages that he, his fellow travelers or his visitors in the guest house and / or the inventory of the vacation apartment has / have culpably caused. The guest is obliged to immediately notify the landlord of any damage.
The landlord is not liable for things brought in by the guest; they are not considered as brought in things in the sense of §§ 701 f. BGB. Liability of the lessor according to these regulations is thus expressly excluded.
This also applies explicitly to valuables that the guest keeps in the vacation home.
As a guest, you are responsible for the following activities, which are not included in our final cleaning: washing dishes, general clean-up and sweeping floors.
Should this not have been done by the guest an additional cleaning fee of 35 € will be charged.
Obligation to report
According to the valid registration law we are obliged to register all guests living in the guesthouse with the data mentioned in the registration law.
This includes, but is not limited to, the following data:
– Name
– Name of the persons traveling with you
– Date of birth
– Gender
– Nationality
– Country of origin
– Address
– Travel document
– Date of the travel period
Capture your data
In order to be able to process your request/booking, it is necessary that the data you have made known to the person responsible are processed.
The above-mentioned responsible person and Zimmersoftware KG (both together also referred to as “Provider”) are in a contractually regulated
Business relationship. The guest house obtains its administration or service from Zimmersoftware KG. Booking Software.
There is a transfer of the personal data you disclose to the management system.
Data collection

This data is only collected to the extent permitted by law and only with your consent and through your active participation.
The purpose of this data processing
Your data will be processed:
– Booking
– Online check in
– Fulfillment of reporting requirements
– Payment processing
– Accounting
If no contract is concluded, the data will be deleted from the system.
Jurisdiction
The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising between the parties from the contractual relationship is the court in whose district the Gästehaus am Bachlauf, 66679 Losheim am See is located.
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply.
